ABSU SET TO PARTNER NIGERIA NAVY FINANCE AND LOGISTICS COLLEGE OWERRINTA.

The Vice Chancellor, Abia State University( ABSU), Distinguished Professor O. M ogbulu has expressed the willingness of the University, to partner the Nigerian Navy Finance and Logistics College (NNFLC) Owerrinta, for the educational benefit of Abians and the entire country.

The Vice Chancellor, speaking while welcoming a team of  Officers from the College on a Courtesy visit, explained that ABSU is the flagship of the State, as far as Tertiary Institution is concerned, hence this long expected affiliation and partnership will further enhance the image of NNFLG Owerrinta, and ABSU, as well as give opportunity to Officers to improve themselves academically.

On the issue of Security, he encouraged the Officers to redouble efforts in tackling the Security challenges facing the country, while urging all citizens to support the Government efforts in the fight against terrorism, kidnapping, banditry and other security problems in the country.

Earlier, the Leader of the team, and Commandant of NNFLC, Owerrinta, Commodore S. H. Abdulahi, stated that the College came to seek support and affiliation of the University to secure accreditation for some of its Diploma programs, as well as run degree and Post Graduate programs for her Students, in ABSU. 

In a vote of thanks,the Officer in Charge of Finance School, Commander E. O Omeje expressed gratitude to the Vice Chancellor for receiving them, praying that the visit will yield the desired result for mutual benefits of both Institutions.
