ABSU GOVERNING COUNCIL PRAYS FOR THE QUICK RECOVERY OF THE GOVERNOR AND VISITOR, OKEZIE VICTOR IKPEAZU, Ph.D

The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council, Abia State University, His Excellency, Senator Adolf Wabara, has regretted the unfortunate and sudden rise in the Corona virus infections in Abia State and prayed for the quick recovery of the Governor and Visitor to the University, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, Ph.D, and others infected by the pandemic.

He described the Governor, a Scholar-in-Governance, as a committed, dedicated and selfless Leader, who has been in the forefront in fighting the pandemic from ravaging the State and assured him of the solidarity of the Governing Council and University Community at this trying moment.

He urged Abians to take full Responsibility by obeying all the COVID-19 Protocols, as coronavirus is real and urged the Federal Government to be more proactive in handling this pandemic, especially in the South East Geo-political zone, to avoid further spread.

On behalf of the Governing Council and University Community, he prayed for God’s divine intervention on the Governor and Visitor to the University, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, Ph.D, for quick recovery and early return to his continued service to the State, the Nation and Humanity.
