





The Vice Chancellor, Professor E. Uche Ikonne held an interactive session with the students of the university on Tuesday 11th July 2017. The Auditorium was filled to capacity at the very impressive event that attracted who is who in the student leadership.
Professor Ikonne warned the students against anti-social behaviour and promised to continually pursue their welfare o with vigour. He also commended the Executive Governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu for providing unprecedented support and identifying with the institution as a Pro-bonus staff of the university in the Department of Biochemistry. The Vice Chancellor entertained and responded to questions from the students.
In his remark, the Dean Student Affairs Dr. Stanley Okereke commended the Vice Chancellor for pursuing vigorously his Our Story Must Change Mandate in the University and pledged their undiluted support for his administration. Also speaking, the President of the Students’ Union Comrade Nwazuo Remijus described the Vice-Chancellor’s interactive session with students as the first of its kind and thanked Prof. Ikonne for the rare privilege.
