Dr. Okechukwu Kalu Ogwo is a Nigerian from Abia State, South East Nigeria. He Obtained Bachelor of Science in Information Science (B.Sc Info.Sci.), Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Mass Communication, Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from Abia State University, Uturu and a Doctor of Philosophy in Library and Information Science (Ph.D) from University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

He began his working career as Information Officer with the Federal Ministry of Information and Communication, Abuja as an Industrial Trainee (2009). Dr. Okechukwu Kalu Ogwo was employed as a Graduate Assistant in 2013/2014 academic session at Abia State University, having emerged as one of the best graduating students of 2006/2007 set.

Dr. Okechukwu Kalu Ogwo is currently a Lecturer with the Department of Library and Information Science, Abia State University, he serves as the Examination Officer and Secretary to the Department Board. He is a member of various committees on campus, which include but not restricted to Member Senate Committee on webometric.
