ABSUWA FACILITATES WORKSHOP FOR NURSERY/DAYCARE TEACHERS

 

 

     

A one day workshop organized by the Abia State University women Association (ABSUWA) has ended with a charge to participants to imbibe new knowledge to help them do the right things that will impact positively in the training of the pupils under their care.

In her opening remark, the President of ABSUWA, and the wife of the Vice Chancellor, Lady( Barrister) Uzoamaka Uche Ikonne, explained that the purpose of the workshop is to appreciate the teachers, and also equip them with new skills and knowledge that will make them more effective in their jobs as teachers that takes care of the children entrusted in their care.

Declaring the workshop open, the Vice Chancellor, Professor E. Uche Ikonne, represened by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration, Professor O.M. Ogbulu, lauded the organizers of the workshop, ABSUWA, pointing that the topics for the workshop goes straight to the core of teaching profession.
He prayed for more grace and energy for the VC to continue to move the University forward.

In a vote of thanks, the Head Teacher of the ABSU staff school, uturu thanked ABSUWA for the workshop, and promised they will put into practice the things they have learnt.
