Institute for Computer Studies
Brief History: The Institute was established in the year 2000 as the Millennium Computer Institute under the leadership of then Dr. E.O. Anyaehie with the mandate of providing computer training for staff and students of the university. In 2006, the Institute was renamed Institute for Computer Studies. The former directors of the Institute include Dr. E. O. Anyaehie, Mr I.U. Mbadiwe (now late), Dr. C.E. Udensi, Dr. J.U. Ogbonna and Mr Uzoma Nwokocha. The current Director is Professor Ositadinma C. Ugbogu.
The mandate of the institute under the Current Vice Chancellor Professor E. Uche Ikonne is to achieve full implementation of e-administration and ICT driven university. Currently the Institute manages the university portal and website.
